SCI Semiconductor raises £5m led by PXN Ventures
Sheffield-based SCI Semiconductor has raised £5m in a Series A round, led by PXN Ventures and Mercia Ventures. It builds memory-safe ICENI chips built on CHERI technology for critical infrastructure, defence and medical systems. Osney Capital and Black Opal Ventures also invested. The money will go on ramping chip production and next-generation products in the UK.
