Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use InvestorUniverse. This page says what we work to, how we test and what we know is not yet covered.
The standard we work to
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We do not claim conformance: the site has not had an independent audit, and automated checks find only part of what a person would.
How the site is tested
- Automated checks against the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules on 34 public pages and 9 pages of the signed-in product, at desktop and phone widths and in both colour themes. Last run on 5 October 2026: the two issues it found were fixed and every page passed on the re-run.
- Colour contrast of text in both themes is checked by a test that runs with every build.
- Every page has a link to skip to the content and a visible focus outline on every control.
What is built in
- Motion is reduced when your device asks for it. The animated graph on the homepage then draws once and stays still, and every figure it shows is also in the text beside it.
- A light theme, if the dark one is hard to read:
- Pages reflow to a single column on a phone-width screen, with no sideways scrolling.
- Printing uses a light page with the navigation removed.
What is not yet covered
- The site has not been tested with people who use assistive technology, or by an independent auditor.
- Text enlarged to 200% and use by keyboard alone have not been checked page by page.
- Charts are drawn as graphics and cannot be explored point by point with a screen reader. Not every chart has a text equivalent yet.
- PDF downloads are generated from the pages and have not been checked for tagged structure.
