The services connected now
The list is built when this page loads from what the site is connected to. A service appears only while it is switched on, and leaves the list when it is switched off.
| Service | What we use it for | Data it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosting the website and running its scheduled jobs | Everything sent to or shown by the site passes through its servers |
| Neon | The database | Accounts, orders, investor records and usage records. Investor contact details are encrypted before they are stored |
| Stripe | Taking payments and running subscriptions | Customer email, what was bought and payment details. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers |
| Resend | Sending email | The recipient's address and the content of each email, including introduction emails a founder approves |
| Anthropic | The language model: reading a company's website, pitch deck feedback, anonymous investor briefs, first-email drafts and short summaries | Text from the company's website, the text of a pitch deck uploaded for feedback, details and questions the founder enters, and for an email draft the name, role and firm of the investor it is written to. Never an email address or a phone number |
What is not on the list, and why
- Where each service stores data. Locations, and the terms that cover any transfer outside the UK, are still to be confirmed with our solicitor. They will be added to the table when they are.
- Destinations you set up yourself. If you point an alert at your own webhook or chat channel, that destination is your choice and is not one of our sub-processors.
- Sources of investor data. This page is about services that handle data for us. Where investor data comes from is described by source type in the Trust Centre and the methodology.
Changes to this list
The table changes as soon as a service is connected or removed, because it is read from the configuration. Our commitment to tell organisation customers before adding a service that will handle their data is in the data processing terms. Questions: privacy@investoruniverse.uk.
