Qkine raises £1.5m led by Parkwalk
Cambridge-based Qkine has raised £1.5m in a seed round, led by Parkwalk. It builds animal-free recombinant growth factors and proteins for stem cell and cell therapy research. CPI Enterprises, EverQuest Capital Partners and EMV Capital also invested. The money will go on expanding in the US, R&D and GMP manufacturing, and strengthening leadership.
