MCatalysis raises £3.8m led by HL Energy Ventures

London-based MCatalysis has raised £3.8m in a seed round, led by HL Energy Ventures and Oxford Science Enterprises. It builds a microwave-driven catalyst process that turns waste gases, plastics and biomass into drop-in fuels. UK Research and Innovation also invested. The money will go on building an industrial pilot plant in Lyon while continuing research in London.
