iGii raises £22.7m led by Scottish National Investment Bank
Stirling-based iGii has raised £22.7m in a Series B round, led by Scottish National Investment Bank. The company makes Gii, a 3D porous carbon nanomaterial for sensors, heaters and batteries. PXN Ventures, Archangels and Scottish Enterprise also invested. The money will go on commercialisation, more manufacturing capacity and growing the team to around 70.
